 Jazz Rehearsal Band. Looking for young musos interested in joining a rehearsal band playing TRADITIONAL JAZZ - Dixieland, New Orleans, Ragtime and novelty Dance Music of 1920`s to 1940`s. An ability to read music is required because we play authentic transcriptions of the original recordings by artists such as Louis Armstong, Kid Ory, The Original Dixieland Jazz Band etc - as well as leter interpreters such as Kenny Ball, Chris Barber, etc. Instruments required are:- Trumpet/Cornet, Trombone, Alto Sax/Clarinet, Tenor Sax/ Clarinet, Piano, Banjo, Drums/Washboard, Bass (String or Brass).
