Find a rental home

• First, peruse any rental property ads on the site and contact the advertiser if any available rental homes are of interest

• When making contact do so professionally providing the owner or agent with your name and contact number and some brief information about yourself and your family, your occupation, etc

• Second, place a free rental home wanted ad. You should do so with care, providing potential landlords and property managers with basic details about yourself (as above) as well as what you require for eg how many bedrooms, parking, the area of interest, etc

• Be aware of potential fraud - any party you can’t meet to face-to-face, has a tale about being overseas or is asking for wire transfers or cheques is almost certainly a fraud. Ignore such contacts and report them to Brisbane Exchange.
